Filtration and separation Technology * Environmental and Energy
Dissolving or saturating air in liquid is a flotation technology that helps to separate light particles, like oil and fats, and heavy particles from the liquid during circulation. As the inlet fluid flows through the inclined plates, oil and light particles run upward by the help of micro air bubbles
Baran® Rotary Drum Screens are pre-treatment polishing equipment in the process of removing solid from liquid up to 200 microns through a filter drum formed by a perforated slot depending on the type and amount of solids to be separated
The process cycle of RVDF is continuous, As the drum rotates partially submerged in the slurry, vacuum draws liquid through the filter medium on the drum surface which retains the solids.
The Candle Filters are, as all pressure filters, operating on a batch cycle, candle filters are simple devices made out of clay and used to filter drinking water, Juice and syrup in order to removes turbidity, suspended materials and pathogens. Removal takes place by physical process such as mechanical trapping on the Stainless Steel candles, which have micro-scale slots.
Multi Disk Screw Press is designed so that sludge entering through the inlet moves at a constant speed through a screw that has a decreasing pitch and dehydrated by a filtration part whit decreasing distance
Clean filtrate is discharged via upper outlet. The air lift pump lifts contaminated slurry from the filter bottom to a hydro pneumatic grit washer.
Lamella is a fast settler with a series of inclined parallel plates. As the liquid flows upward through the inclined parallel lamella plates, the heavier particles or sludge in the liquid settle on Lamella plates and slide( slip) down due to gravity. By increasing the number of inclined plates, lamella does the separator that 10 times occupied less space.
